Clara C. Haynes, 83, of Sissonville went to be with the Lord on August 16, 2011 at home after a short illness.
Clara was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Haynes, and a son, Michael Haynes.
Clara attended the Derrick's Creek Community Church and especially enjoyed playing her guitar, banjo and singing.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Phyllis Taylor and her husband, Dorsel, of Kenna, Tommy Haynes and Rex Haynes of Charleston, Linda Griffith and Judy Hall and her husband, Billy, all of Florida, Charlotte White, Sandra Haynes and her husband, Dennis, all of Sissonville and Janette Dennison and her husband, Denver, of Ohio; sister, Lennia Foxx and her husband, Freeland, of South Carolina; 26 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be 1pm Friday, August 19 in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville.
A gathering of family and friends will begin at noon Friday until service time at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville.
