Charles N. Young, 64, of Sissonville went to be with the Lord March 23, 2011 at home after a sudden illness.
Charlie was a lifelong resident of Kanawha County, was a member of the Pocatalico Community Church, and especially enjoyed collecting license plates.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Graydon Young.
Left to cherish his memory are sister, Doris Bowles and her husband, Danny, of Sissonville; nieces and nephew, Matthew Bowles and his wife, Carly, Sarah Bowles, and Amanda Bowles all of Sissonville; uncle and caregiver, Elmer Miller and his wife, Elizabeth, of Sissonville and a host of friends.
The Funeral Service will be 11am Saturday, March 26 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with Pastor Buddy Mairs officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville.
A gathering of family and friends will be 6-8pm Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Pocatalico Community Church, 6837 Sissonville Drive, Sissonville, WV 25320.
