Charles W. Bumgardner

Charles "Web" Bumgardner, 93, of Sissonville, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015. Our dad went home to be with Jesus.

Born August 12, 1921 in Romance, he was the son of the late W.H. Bumgardner and Flossie Duff Bumgardner.

Web served our country in the Army Air Corp during WWII. He was retired from Vacellio & Grogan Construction Company.

In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Mildred Irene Fisher; three sisters, Glayds Koontz, Mary Jones, and Pauline Bumgardner.

Web is survived by his children, Charles Allen Bumgardner and Charlotte K. Lucas; three sisters, Catherine Boggess, Helen Lanham, and Freda Mowrer; two brothers, Robert Bumgardner and Raymond Bumgardner (Mary Kay); one granddaughter, Vanessa Renee Moats (Dale) and one great granddaughter, Brittany Moats .

Visitation will be from 6 to 8pm on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be at 1pm on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Camp officiating.

Interment will immediately follow at Floral Hills Garden of Memories. Military rites will be conducted by the United States Army and American Legion Post 61.
