Charles Edward Smith, 67, passed away on March 14, 2014 at his home after a long illness.

Born July 12, 1946 in Charleston, WV; he was the son of the late Virgil and Louise Smith.

Charles served our country in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He worked for the US Postal service for 25years.

He proceeded in death by one sister Nancy Zagst.

Charles is survived by his wife of 47years, Sylvia Fink Smith; one daughter Tamaria Lynch and her husband Dana; two grandchildren, Charles "Chuck" and Allisyn Lynch; and three sisters, Linda Baily, Debbie Haynes, and Evelyn Kissinger.

A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Cross Roads Community Church with Pastor Ben Fowler officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Care: 1606 Kanawha Blvd. Charleston, WV.
