Charles Marion Dooley, 79, of Sissonville, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 after a short illness at Hubbard Hospice House surrounded by his loving family.

Born August 5, 1935 in Sissonville, he was the son of the late Raymond Oscar Dooley and Virginia Morecott Dooley Whittington.

He served our country in the United States Army.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Norma Dooley; daughters, Pamela Jo Dooley Higginbotham, Virginia Carol Dooley Whittington, Jacqueline Lynn Gibson (Gary); brothers, James Dooley (Carol) and Raymond Dooley (Maxine); grandsons, Jeremy Higginbotham and Evan Gibson; granddaughter, Kendra Whittington; great granddaughter, Tarah Higginbotham; and Brenda Jones a special family member.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8pm on Friday, October 24, 2014 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 11am on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home with Dr. Bill J. Bartlett, Pastor Kevan Bartlett, and Dr. Gary Gibson officiating.

Interment will immediately follow at Floral Hills Garden of Memories with military rites by the Legion 61 and WV Honor Guard.
