Cecil Lee Walker, 76, of Charleston passed away March 21, 2009 at home after a short illness.
Cecil was preceded in death by his father, Delbert Walker; and brothers, Charles, Reno, and Leonard Walker.
Survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Ruby Walker at home; children, Lena Smith, and Cecil Walker, Jr. both of Charleston; mother, Ora Bell Walker of Charleston; sister, Julie Ann Walker of Charleston; grandchildren, Robert "Gene" Smith, Justin Smith, and Tracey Campbell; great grandchildren, Hunter Smith, Walker Campbell, Macey Smith, Ty Campbell, and Ryder Smith.
The funeral service will be 11am Wednesday, March 25 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with Reverend David VanHorn officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery, Fisher Ridge Road, Goldtown.
A gathering of family and friends will be 6-8pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
