Cathy Goins Roberts, 66, of Sissonville, WV, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 10, 2025. After a long illness, with her family by her side. She was born on August 2, 1959, to the late Herold and Judith Goins.

Cathy enjoyed cooking out with family and helping others in any way she could. She loved talking to anyone and never met a stranger. Cathy always said you have one life. Live it to the fullest. Cathy was a loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and sister.

In addition to her parents, Cathy is preceded in death by her loving husband Basil Gordan Roberts, brothers Terry Goins and Michael Goins, sister Diane Goins, and many more family and friends.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Robert Blankinship (Bobbie), daughters Tawnya Hardwood (Mike) and Dawn Smart, brothers Brian Goins and Greg Goins, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Long & Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sissonville Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 12 – 1:00 p.m. before the service.
