Catherine Louise Coffman, 82, of Sissonville went to be with her loved ones Saturday, February 7, 2009.
Catherine was born June 17, 1926 in Ansted to the late Robert Morris and Rhoda Mae Presson. She was a former sales associate with the Diamond Department Store, and Kauffman''s Department Store. She also loved traveling with the senior citizen''s group.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Harding Coffman; daughter, Joyce Cochran; and grandsons, James Mentz, and Corey Jarrett.
She is survived by her sons, Gary Coffman and his wife, Marsha, Randy Coffman and his wife, Jennifer, Kevin Coffman and his wife, Karen; daughter, Rita Jarrett; son-in-law, Matt Cochran; grandchildren, Leah Lauchart and her husband, Terry, Casey Jarrett and his wife, Julie, Rachel Coffman, Kinzy Coffman, and Tanner Coffman; great grandchildren, Ethan Lauchart, Marlee Mentz, and Haley Jarrett.
A celebration of Catherine''s life will be 10am Friday, February 13 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville. Burial will follow in Aultz Cemetery, Sissonville.
A gathering of family and friends will be 6-8pm Thursday at the funeral home.
