On October 5, 2026, Carolyn Keen, 81, from Sissonville, WV went home to be with her Lord and Savior, surrounded by her loving family.

She was a faithful member of North Charleston Baptist Church for 50 years. She served as their Pianist for many years.

Preceded in death was her father, J.W Brewer, her mother, Edna Brewer, Sisters, Jan Sears, JoAnn Carson and son-in-law David Smith.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Fred Keen of 63 years. Her sister, Sandy Ferrell and husband, Todd. Her three daughters, Sherry Smith and her husband, David. Kim Underwood and her husband, Jeff, and Carol Walker and her husband, James; her grandchildren, John Mize, J.W. Smith, Brittany Halstead and her husband, Cody. Josiah Underwood and his wife, Brynn. Bryant Underwood and his wife, Maloree. Jimmy Walker, Andrew Walker, and Jaden Walker; and five great-grandchildren, whom she loved and cherished.

She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the hospice caregivers who tirelessly cared for her with compassion, kindness, and love during her final days.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday October 10th 2026 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home with Pastor David Carney officiating. A visitation will be held from 11-1 prior to the service. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Garden of Memories in Sissonville WV.
