Bubby Holstein, 52, of Sissonville went to be with the Lord May 20, 2007 at home after an extended illness.
Bubby was an avid Harley-Davidson Motorcycle enthusiast, and loved fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil Holstein and Phyllis Harris; Step-father, Thomas Harris; and Son, Troy Holstein.
Survived by; loving wife of 9 years, Kathy Holstein of Sissonville; Children, Stephanie Clendenin, and Jon McCoy and fiance Felicia Sams, all of Sissonville; Sisters, Betty Jo Simpson of St. Albans, Sis Hall of Dunbar, and Sheila Bair of Troy, OH; Grandchildren, Troy Holstein of St. Albans, Michael Clendenin, Katie Clendenin, and Tristian Sybert, all of Sissonville; Nephews, Alan Hall, and Nash Simpson, both of St. Albans; Nieces, Mindee Hall of Hurricane, Noel Bair of Troy, OH, and Heather Simpson, of St. Albans; a host of family and friends; and best friend, and fishing buddy, Spanky Vernetti of Sissonville.
The Funeral Service will be 2pm Wednesday, May 23 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with Thomas Hantak officiating. Burial will follow at Sissonville Memorial Gardens, Sissonville. Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
