Obituary

Brenda Kay (Page) Bavle of Kenna passed away on Friday, October 28, 2011.
She was born on December 3, 1947 in Charleston, West Virginia. She grew up on her family farm in Kelley's Creek and was an honor's graduate of Sissonville High School class of 1965. Continuing in her superior academic standards of her youth, she was currently attending WVUP were she also received Dean List honors for her academic achievements and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa International Honors Society.
Mom devoted herself to her home and family. She was our rock. She was also an avid outdoors woman with one of her greatest passions being fishing. She was an amazing cook, mechanic, care giver, and the hardest working person I've ever known. Mom was always on the ready with her razor sharp wit and glib sense of humor. She was never one to mince words and firmly believed in saying what you mean and mean what you say.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene "Gene" Page and Faye V. (Miller) Page, sister Decema Rae Page, brother's Gerald Page and Darold Page.
She is survived by her husband Robert Bavle; children, Christian, Julia, Brandon and his wife Dorothy. Also, by her only grandchild, her love and the light of her life, Rachel Leigh Bavle; brothers, Harold Page, Carrel Page, and Jerry Page; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A gathering of family and friends will be 6-8pm Monday, October 31 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville. A private graveside service will be in the Pritt Cemetery, Sissonville
