Brayden James Taylor
August 15, 2003- June 3, 2024
Sissonville, West Virginia mourns the loss of a bright young man, Brayden James Taylor, who passed away at the age of 20 after a heartfelt health battle on June 3, 2024. Born in Charleston, WV on August 15, 2003 to Jimmy and Millie Taylor, Brayden was a master fisherman, loving son, cherished grandson, and a friend to many.
Brayden a 2021 graduate from Sissonville Highschool, went on to further his education by attending Ben Franklin Career Center where he received his universal HVAC certification and journeyman electrician certification. After a brief time as an electrician, Brayden discovered his true passion working with the elderly as a chef at Edgewood Summit. Every resident adored him and his contagious smile lit up the senior community.
Brayden's love for hunting and especially fishing held a special place in his soul. Known as a master in catching the elusive catfish, especially them "pigs", Brayden could fish for hours, soaking in the tranquility of the outdoors. With a heart as big as his love for the outdoors, Brayden never met a stranger and was loved by all who were lucky enough to cross his path. His generous spirit was always shining and was constantly lending a helping hand to others and would be the person that literally give the shirt off his back if thought it would help someone in need.
Brayden discovered warmth and fellowship at New Beginnings Ministry Center. His heart was overflowing with his love and belief in Jesus, which illuminated his path and filled his days with purpose and grace. The promise of Heaven and the realm of peace everlasting guided his faith.
Brayden cherished all his family but had a special bond with mom Millie. Brayden wore the badge of Momma's boy with pride. There is a sacred unbreakable bond between mother and son, that transcends time and space. Brayden and Millie had such a bond from the tender moments of childhood and the shared laughter of the teen years to the unforgettable memories their bond remains unbreakable, transcending even the boundaries of death. A testament that love knows no end.
Brayden was proceeded in death by his uncle Charlie Taylor and his cousin Christopher Fromal. Left to cherish his memory are his parents loving parents Jimmy and Mille. His love, Aly Thomas. Grandparents Mike and Sharon Beane, and Jim and Anita Taylor. Aunts and Uncles Brian and Cindy Beane, Monita and Frankie Smith, and Candi Stowers, and Phil Baldwin.
