Robert "Bob" Fisher, 78, of Sissonville went to be with the Lord on April 1, 2011 in Hubbard Hospice House.
Bob was born July 27, 1932 and was the son of the late Aubrey and Wavie Fisher. Bob was a lifelong member of Fisher Chapel Methodist Church, was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and a retired semi-truck driver.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Betty at home; sons, Steve, Rick and his wife, Rita; sister, Jewell Cavender and her husband, Harold; brothers, Gene Fisher and his wife, Janet, Rex "Butch" Fisher and his wife, Geebie; grandchildren, Richard and April Fisher; great-granddaughter, Grayson Fisher; stepmother, Nora Fisher; sister-in-law, Deloris Strickland; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Service will be Noon Sunday, April 3 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville with Reverend Carroll Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Emma Chapel Cemetery, Liberty.
A gathering of family and friends will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Hubbard Hospice House, 1001 Kennawa Drive, Charleston, WV 25311.
