Billy Lee Schneider, 74, of Sissonville, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2007.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Alberta Schneider.
Bill was retired from Union Carbide Tech Center, where he was a machinist. He was a charter member, Sunday school teacher and Deacon at North Hills Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Holmes Schneider; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Vicki Schneider of Charleston; granddaughters, Kristin and Amber Schneider of Charleston; brother, James Schneider of New Mexico; and sister, Mary Ellis of Charleston.
Thanks to the nurses at Charleston Memorial Hospital, they were great. A special thanks goes to Sara Radcliff, and to Bill's sister, Mary Ellis, for always being there.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to the Building Fund of North Hills Baptist Church, 6108 Bobolink Lane, Charleston, WV 25313.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at the North Hills Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Harper officiating. Burial will follow in the Floral Hills Gardens of Memories, Pocatalico.
