Billy Edwin Phillips, 81, passed away at his home on Allens Fork, Sissonville on Sunday, September 27, 2015.

He worked at True Temper, Kelly Axe Co., and later Mike Slater Builders. He owned and operated a saw mill for many years. Bill was a "jack of all trades".

Bill will be missed by his loving wife of 52 years, Bonneda "Bonnie" Phillips; a son, Billy Scott Phillips (Felica); two grandchildren, Malisa Phillips and Tyler Phillips; sisters, Shelva Boggess, Teena Bowers, Lexine Kinser, and Ilene Tignor; brothers, Richard Phillips (Jeannie), and Bernard Phillips (Sue); a special niece and nephew, Kimberly Malone; and Joey Goldizen; and a host of family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Sinnett Phillips and Lila Slater Phillips; brothers, Ray, Bob, Gene, and Harold.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8pm on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be at 1pm on Friday, October 2, 2015 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Casto officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Floral Hill Garden of Memories.
