Billy Earl Fisher, 86, of Charleston passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, December 1, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.

He was the son of the late George and Ellie Fisher. Billy served our country in United States Army and was stationed at Fort Knox during the Korean War. He was an active member of Fairview United Methodist Church. Billy loved to fish and cheer on the Mountaineers. He never met a stranger and loved to be around people.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 63 years, Leona Fisher; children, Kathy Fisher, Jackie Lee Fisher (Devona); sisters, Betty Ray and Bernice Wood; granddaughters, Kellie and Jessika Fisher; and a host of nieces and nephews. Billy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

In addition to his parents, Billy is preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Sue Fisher; three brothers, and three sisters.

Funeral service will be held at Long & Fisher Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at noon with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial will immediately follow at Floral Hills Garden of Memories.
