Biddie J. Anderson Hatcher, 83, of Charleston, went to be with the Lord and her lifelong love, Burhl, December 9, 2008 in Thomas Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
Biddie was retired from Montgomery Ward Department Store having worked as a Catalog Department Manager. She was a member of Sugar Creek Missionary Baptist Church, loved quilting, and spending time with her family.
Preceded in death by: husband, Burhl T. Hatcher; parents, William and Iva Anderson; and five siblings.
Survived by: children, William B. Hatcher and his wife, Candace, of Milwaukee, WI, Kay Hanshaw and her husband, David, of Charleston, and Barbara Goff of Charleston; sister, Maxine Bendure of Chouteau, OK; brother, Bernard Anderson and his wife, Edson, of San Antonio, TX; seven grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 13 at the Sugar Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Charleston with Reverend Tim Martin, Reverend Benny Bess, and Reverend Omar Rucker officiating. Burial will follow in Stone Lick Cemetery, Kenna.
A gathering of friends and family will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m Friday at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville.
