Beverly "Susie" Milam,  72, of Dunbar passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024 at home. She was born on November 6, 1951 to the late R. C. Jones and Cama Dodd Jones.

Susie was a graduate of Herbert Hoover High School. She worked at Tincher Denture Labs, KB&T, and One Valley Banks and was a member of Blue Creek Advent Christian Church and Dunbar Mountain Mission Church where she was a Sunday school teacher and enjoyed being in church Christmas plays.. Susie was one of the original owners of By The River Creations and enjoyed crafting.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 53 years, Roy Milam, grandchild RJ (Kayla), two great grandchildren, several cousins, and a host of friends and acquaintances.

Susie will be remembered by her beautiful smile, kind heart, and caring soul.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home with Pastor David Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. before the service at the funeral home.
