Betty Lou Stallman, 74, of Charleston passed away March 30, 2010 in St. Mary''s Hospital after a long illness.
Betty attended Union Valley Gospel Tabernacle, Tupper''s Creek. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Betty enjoyed reading the bible and watching movies.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lawrence D. Bowling and Alfred D. Stallman; son, Larry Eugene Bowling; parents, Robert and Leona Berry; and brothers, John Charles Berry and Delmer Berry.
Left to cherish her memory are children, Beverly Thaxton of Charleston, Linda Sweeney of Clendenin, Ronald L. Bowling of Leon, Mary Ann Fowler of Kenna, Darrell L. Stallman of Leon and Robert L. Stallman of Zebulon, NC.
The Funeral Service will be 3 p.m. Saturday, April 3 at the Union Valley Gospel Tabernacle, Tupper''s Creek. Burial will follow in the Thaxton Family Cemetery, Wolf Pen.
A gathering of family and friends will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville.
