Betty Jo Brightwell, 72, of Charleston, passed away February 20, 2023. Born on February 10, 1951 in Kanawha County, she was the daughter of the late Albert Brightwell Sr. and Pearl Page. Betty was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church. In her spare time, she loved being outdoors, working puzzles, and writing scripture from her bible. Betty was loved by everyone she met, and her family will always remember her smiling face. She is survived by her brother, Albert Brightwell, Jr., and her cousins, Wanda Tolley, Linda (Jeff) Troup and John Tolley, all of Sissonville. Long and Fisher Funeral Home is assisting the family with cremation arrangements.
