Betty June Beane, 80, of Sissonville passed away August 9, 2016 at home.

Betty graduated from Sissonville High School, she worked at Bell Atlantic until her retirement in 1991. She enjoyed visiting Florida, spending time with her niece and nephew, Bill and Linda Fowler.

Betty was born August 11, 1935 to the late Vasia and William Haynes. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Beane; and siblings, Kenneth Haynes, Bernard Haynes, Brady Haynes, Mary Wells, Boyd Haynes, Maime Thaxton, Peggy Fowler, Garnett Edens, Esta Haynes and Holbert Haynes.

Left to cherish her memory are loving children, Roger Beane (wife, Sherri), John Beane, Tim Allman; siblings, Sadia Roush and Donald Haynes; grandchildren, Amber Cunningham (husband, Michael and his daughter, Gillian), Roger Beane (Fiance Kristen Keown), Joseph Beane (wife, Jovon-Minimah Beane), and Cody Beane.

Service will be 1pm Saturday, August 13 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will follow in John Beane Cemetery, Grapevine Road, Sissonville.

A gathering of family and friends will be two hours before the service at the funeral home.
