Betty Lou (Goff) Asbury, 82, of Sissonville, WV gained her heavenly wings on October 17, 2023.

Betty was born November 21, 1941, in Charleston, WV. Her parents were Bert and Louise Trowbridge. Betty was married to Henry "RoHo" Asbury, Jr. on October 22, 1960. They were married for nearly 54 years until his death in August 2014.

In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by a grandson, John William Asbury, Jr., and an infant son, Henry Asbury II.

Survivors include three sons, John William (Bonnie) Asbury, James "Jimmy" Lee (Teresa) Asbury, and Michael Allen (Gail) Asbury, all of Sissonville, and one sister, Christine (Don) Ebersbach of Moore Haven, Florida.  Betty is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Harry Wayne Asbury of Sissonville, Kandi, Keirrah, and Kashton Nelson of Sissonville, Rachel (Jeremy) Hogston, Hailey Addair, and Daniel Hogston of Bluff City, TN, Ashley (William) Duty, L'Rae Brooks, and Charles Duty of Troutman, NC, Jessica (Junior) Boyce, Gage and Remington Hayes of Goldtown, Dylan (Lauren) Asbury, Jessica (Todd) Haynes, Eric (Cierra) Phillips, Taylan Asbury, Gunner Asbury, Destiny (Jake) Walton, Ryan (Hailey) Haynes, Oliver Phillips, Nova Haynes, and Willow Walton.

Betty was the sweetest person you could ever meet and she always made you feel so welcome in her home. She was a Godly woman who loved going to church whenever she could. Betty will be greatly missed by her family and the many friends she and RoHo had over the years. Betty was an angel on Earth and now an angel in heaven to watch over us.

Service will be Noon Friday, October 27, 2023 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, 6837 Sissonville Drive, Sissonville with Jerry Naylor officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville.

A gathering of family and friends will begin at 11:00 A.M. Friday at the funeral home.
