Bernard Franklin Lowther II, 74, of Sissonville, WV, passed away on February 2, 2023 at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston. Born on March 8, 1948 in Charleston, he was the son of the late Helen Blankenship. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jennifer Lowther. Bernard was a U.S. Vietnam Veteran and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his son, Scott (Kathryn) Lowther of Sissonville; sisters, Linda Skaggs of Glen Burnie, MD, and Carolyn Hackney of Jacksonville, FL; sister-in-law, Rebecca Holstine, and his granddaughter, Kaitlyn Lowther. A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Floral Hills Garden of Memories in Sissonville.
