Bernadine Whittington, 79, of Charleston passed away at her home on Sunday, January 24, 2016.

Born June 18, 1936 in Charleston; she was the daughter of the late Doyle and Beulah Moffatt.

Bernadine will be missed by her four daughters, Teresa Dickerson and her husband Tom, Debra Whittington, Regina Hayes, and Sandra Whittington; a sister, Patricia Moffatt Britton and her husband Tom; two brothers, Curtis Moffatt and his wife Shirley, and Doyle Moffatt and his wife Kay; six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Sebert S. Whittington; and sister, Linda Lou Miller; and son in law, Kenny Hayes.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Friday, January 29, 2016 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to service. Pastor Bill Neil will be officiating.
