Benjamin "Benji" Noel Stamper, 45, of Liberty passed away from an illness on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at CAMC Memorial with his loving wife by his side.  He was the son of Danna Jo Hartwell and the late Douglas Hartwell. Benji enjoyed spending time working in his garage and being with family. He loved taking long rides on his Harley on beautiful days.

Benji was married to the love of his life on February 28, 2021, Melissa Newman Stamper. In addition to his bride, Benji is survived by his children, Hunter and Zachary Stamper; and a host of other family and friends; and his fur baby, Winston. Benji is preceded in death by his grandparents, Rome and Juanita Morris; and nephew, Caleb Marcum.
