Barbara Jean Legg, 70, of Sissonville passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at
home. She was born on February 16, 1953 in Hurricane to the late Garland William Thomas and
Esters Lorraine Thomas.

Barbara was a 1972 graduate of Hurricane High School. She enjoyed taking care of people
working in home health care which led to her career as a nurse's aid at Cedar Ridge Nursing
Home.

In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her loving husband of 33 years,
Kenneth "Eddie" Legg, two sisters Beverly Thomas and Kathy Becraft, brothers Charles Thomas and George Thomas,
two brothers-in-laws Curt Becraft and Charles Mays, niece Von Lisa Becraft, step nephew Steve
Becraft and best friend Tom Z.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sisters Kay Mays of Hurricane and Nona Thomas,
brother Clifford "Mourie" (Edith) Thomas, sister-in-law Vicky Thomas, friends Billy and Debbie
Good, Little Bill Good, Chad Good, Jennifer Good, Johnny Good, Kinly Good and Rickie Good,
several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 22, 2023 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home.

Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. following the visitation at the funeral home. A private burial will be held in Legg Cemetery.
