Heaven gained another precious angel.

Audra Beulah Payne Comer, 82, of Sissonville, passed away peacefully Sunday, November 12, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born on August 30, 1941, to the late Rosco and Cumi Payne. Audra had a beautiful heart and was the beating heart of her family.

In addition to her parents, Audra is predeceased by Joyce Lynn, Gary Wayne, and Linda McCallister.

All her life, Audra spent her time caring for loved ones and helping raise several generations of children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Audra's capacity for caring for the many people she loved was limitless. Her heartwarming presence is irreplaceable and will be dearly missed. Her kind, loving spirit will live on through the lives of countless impacted loved ones and all who had the fortune of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace. Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Franklin Comer; sons Doug, Bill, and Teddy; daughter Nancy; brothers Rosco Jr., Gary, and Odell; sisters Patricia and Barbara; grandchildren Luke, Robbie, Christopher, Douglas, Jonathan, Zachary, Matthew, Kesha, Debbie, Cassie, Brittany, Everly, Zander, Colton, Elijah and Gage, 10 beloved great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, three fur-babies and her much-adored baby doll Grace.

Services will be held Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home at 1pm with visitation one hour prior to.
