Arretta Frances Haynes, of Sissonville, West Virginia passed peacefully at Marmet Center on April 6, 2018 after a long struggle with Alzheimer's disease.

Frances was born on March 20, 1941 to the late Herman Newhouse and Dollie Newhouse. She was a long time employee of Better Foods Inc. Gino's Pizza Sissonville, West Virginia.   Frances enjoyed cooking and sewing for many years

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Haynes; daughter, Kella Jackson, and brother, Robert Newhouse .

Frances is survived by three children Anita Shafer, Russell (Rusty) Kidd, and Melissa Cook of North Carolina; siblings, Edna Smith of Sissonville, Sydney & Jerry Alderman of Ravenswood, Helen Dragon of California,  Larry and Janie Newhouse of Dunbar, Gary and Kay of North Carolina,  Ann Posey of Charleston, Jan Newhouse of Charleston; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 7pm on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 5pm. Rev. Loretta Isaiah will be officiating. Committal service will be held at 10am on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Sissonville Memorial Gardens.
