Aretta G. Ingram

Heaven gained an angel on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, Aretta G. Ingram passed away peacefully at Hubbard Hospice House West surrounded by her loving family.

Born October 15, 1927 in Guthrie; she was the daughter of the late Walter Garfield Hackney and Flora Gay Cobb Hackney.

Aretta is survived by her three children, Robert Clayton Ingram (Doris), Donna Jean Morey (Duane), and Jennifer Gay Meadows (Wayne); a sister, Gladys Tyree; six grandchildren, Kristi Ingram, Kimberly Ingram, Josh Chapman (Ellen), Isaac Richardson, John Thomas Kutil, and Ira Michael Kutil; two great grandchildren, Gabriella and Jace Chapman; a special nephew, Donald R. Withrow; a special niece, Janet Hermansdorfer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Rev. Ira C. Ingram; siblings, Arbutus Withrow (her twin sister), Ersel Tyree, Ruby Patton, Howard Hackney, Ruth Edens, and Maxine Carte.

Funeral Services will be at 1pm on Monday, March 30, 2015 at Long and Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville, with visitation one hour prior to service. Pastor Billy Meadows will be officiating.

Entombment will immediately follow at Elk Hills Memorial Park.
