Anna Lorene Reed, 72, of Sissonville went to be with the Lord, Saturday July 10, 2010 at Hubbard Hospice House. Lorene was formerly of Red House, WV.
She was a retired cook with the Kanawha County School Board. She was a member of 2nd Creek Community Church, Sissonville.
Lorene was preceded in death by he husband Edsil (Sonny) Reed, parents Fred and Marie Noffsinger Wandling and a sister Marian Wright.
She is survived by sisters: Barbara Barnett of Dunbar Janet Workman (Randall) of Buffalo, WV Betty Wandling of Red House She is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She will be missed by many family members, friends and her dog Annie. She loved life and fought a courageous battle.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday July 15, 2010 at the Long and Fisher Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack Comer officiating.
Burial will follow in the Sissonville Memorial Gardens, Sissonville, WV
Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM Monday at the Long and Fisher Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to Hubbard Hospice House.
