Obituary

Amy Marie Jarrell, of Charleston, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Amy was born on June 21, 1977, to the late Ronald Gibson and Verna Gibson. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose greatest joy and pride was her family.

Amy shared 23 beautiful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Troy Jarrell. Together, they built a life filled with love, family, memories, and countless moments that will be treasured forever.

She is survived by her daughter, Tori Jarrell (Tyler O’Neill); her son, Tyler Harper (Arielle); and her grandchildren, Raegan, Scarlett, and Dayton Harper, as well as a precious grandchild on the way whom she already loved so deeply.

Amy is also survived by her brothers, Steven Gibson (Jennifer), and JR Gibson (Katie), along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family, and dear friends who will forever feel the impact of her love.

She took immense pride in her family and cherished every moment she could spend with them. She found happiness in the things she loved most—dirt track racing, camping, and making memories surrounded by friends and family. But above all else, Amy loved her family.

Though her passing leaves an unimaginable emptiness in the hearts of those who loved her, Amy will never truly be gone. She will live on through her children, grandchildren, her family, and all of the memories she created along the way.

We find comfort knowing that Amy is no longer suffering and has been welcomed into Heaven, where she will be reunited with her daddy and the loved ones who went before her.
