Alea E. Cochran, 41, of Sissonville went to be with the Lord December 21st, 2006 after a courageous 9 month battle with breast cancer.
Alea worked at Pocatalico Animal Hospital, where she loved all animals. She was a 1984 Sissonville High School graduate, and was loved by all who knew her.
Alea was preceded in death by her father, Abraham Smith.
Survived by: Husband, Ernest "J.R." Cochran, at home; Sons, Jeremy and Justin Cochran at home; Stepsons, Danny, Eric, and Andy of South Charleston; Mother, Brenda Darlene Smith and Stepfather, Bert Smith of Hometown; Brother, Perry Smith of Sissonville; Sister, Celia Prouse of South Charleston; a host of friends and family.
The funeral service will be 11am Saturday, December 23rd at the Floral Hills Garden of Memories Mausoleum Chapel, Sissonville. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the Mausoleum Chapel.
