Adda Vesta Bond, 99, of Cross Lanes, WV, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024 at the Dunbar Center. She was born on April 10, 1924 to the late Jamison Vinson and Hattie Hager Vinson.

Adda was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. She enjoyed traveling and entertaining family and friends. Adda retired from Lockheed Martin Corporation in San Jose, CA.

In addition to her parents, Adda is preceded in death by her husband Bob Bond, daughter Linda Watson, brothers Clifford Vinson, Winfield Vinson, and Bill Vinson, sisters Florence Rankin, Myrtle Cline and Roberta Vinson.

Those left to cherish her memory include her nephew Jimmy Vinson, nieces Bonnie Griffin, Anna Jean Browning and Kay Kuzell, many great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 1, 2024 at Long & Fisher Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Floral Hill Garden of Memories.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home before the service.
