Obituary

Abram Gregory Spradling was born on October 20, 2016 and went to his eternal Heavenly Home on February 1, 2017. He left us peacefully in the arms of his mother due to complications from his illness. He leaves behind his father, James, his mother, Emily, and his big brother, Silas along with so many others including his grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, and uncles who loved him so much and will miss him terribly. Abram''s passing has left in those who loved him a feeling of immense loss, but joy is found in his memories. He loved to be rocked and sang to by his mommy, to watch his brother, dad, and dog, Otis, wrestle in the floor, to suck on his pacifier, and he loved having a full belly. Though his time with us was far too short, he has taught us so much. Life is a far too precious thing to waste, and with this lesson we know we must carry on. We must live our lives to the fullest to honor his life that was taken too soon.
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." - Matthew 19:14 NIV
Until our last breaths are labored and we meet again sweet Abram, know how very much you are loved and missed, every moment of every day.
A memorial will be held on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 11am with the service beginning at noon at Long and Fisher Funeral Home in Sissonville, WV. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to either the Ronald McDonald House organization or to the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation at umdf.org.
